What is the best way to remove the hot wax from a painted wall? I spilled a melting pot votive glass against a wall that was above my dining room hutch. It went against my wall is a wine color. Is there a better way to remove the wax without damaging the wall and painting?
place a wax paper, and your iron to the lowest. The heat will transfer the wax to the paper, which can then be discarded.
Then use a gentle cleanser, such as dishwashers very dilute liquid to remove any remaining residue.
Good luck!
Bags of ice and rock salt to freeze and then leave now if she was a little something you put in a freezer. But since your on the wall half-empty bag of ice to put some salt in and mix. I remember when I was younger, we would rock salt or ice to keep beer or cold beer would freeze if we did not drink it quickly so it's the only way I could think to freezing. Good Luck
try a cloth or towel and an iron. I know it works for carpets
best left til its completely cool and set and remove it. if there is a residue, a little heat with a hair dryer and use a handkerchief or something like that for Patt off. it may be useful.
All you need do is ask a hair dryer heated during hot wax. As it melts off dry with a cloth soaked in wash.
DO NOT use an iron! The heat will burn the mural.
