What do you think about teenage drinking in rural communities? Do you think the law enforcement community in rural areas is a good job of law enforcement regarding teens and alcohol? Or do you think that since the cops know the parents tend to ignore the situation? What kind of interventions can you think that would be beneficial to a community of high-risk drinking teens?
I have not ever.
Ive heard that question either and theres no right answer for her. im 19 male and go to college right now. When you have other friends who drink and throw some of your are probably going to drink like I do. But when you do that you have to decide a number of things for yourself you know ..... like how you act, what you doing, how you think. many adolescents are very irrisponsible when they do, and becomes uncontrollable. In my personal opinion I think as long as you to hang out with friends or party you trust and have known for some time and they look for you then you should be good. But theres only if they can do for you depending on how alcohol and beer effects you personally. Now to really answer your question if you live in a community where there is a high risk of adolescent drinking and think they need assistance I would look on the internet for people who can help with this problem . I also fear. I graduated top of my senior class in May 2009. there was the elderly who died do to this problem. one was t-boned by a drunk driver when he had to crawl to a bush on the roadside. when the EMT got him to the hospital, was pronounced dead due to internal bleeding. The other guy died because he was drinking with friends in the lake on a boat when he fell and his friends were drunk to realize what was happening and he ended up drowning. Hope that helped the least. the only thing I can think is also helping to find a doctor named dr. Drew. It is very famous Dr. who has been at 97.9 kupd for a show called the line "love". He also rehabilitation, etc. google it and you might have more luck!
It is common where I live and I think if the police were implementing roadblocks in the early hours of the morning they would be able to prevent many deaths from accidents that keep happening .
The difficulty is that it's expensive and it creates a criminal element in the region by stigmitizing offenders who are convicted.
Maybe if they were allowed to drink in a supervised situation.
Huh?
I live in town (just moved into a suburb) and I spend my summers in rural areas. I drink as much or more than the teenagers there. They come to drink cheap vodka and beer. I'm 16, I live in Estonia. The only people who are affected by this consumption are those morons anyway.
I live in the suburbs, so I'm not sure. But I think that parents in rural areas may be encouraged, because it is part of social culture there.
