How can I get free wine tasting in Sonoma Valley, CA? I am a poor student of legal age here in California for a vacation, and I wanted to taste the exquisite wines of Sonoma Valley to expect more money. Can someone help me?
Most places in Napa and Sonoma charge for tasting, but the money will be credited if you buy a bottle. Try going to the western areas of Sonoma wine. Sebastopol and Healdsburg wineries have some KILLER. They are almost all free, good prices on the bottles, and the people running the tasting rooms are really nice. Napa and Sonoma overcrowded and pretentious.
wine tastings are one of the most wonderful things that you can do for free anywhere in the United States Sonoma is my favorite. You meet great people and learn a lot about California. Here is a link to the vineyards of Sonoma:

Other parts of the site Sonoma.com show you what else there is to do there. The first time I went to wine country, I took the wife of a former employee of my husband of over 15 wineries. (We lost count. LOL) We drove up the highway in Napa, stopping at each producer along the road, then crossed a hill in Sonoma. On the way back, I nearly burned the breaks on my rental Mustang down the mountain with my host screaming his lungs. You have a great time. Enjoy.
95% of the wineries offer free tastings. The best class includes a free tasting - Goosecross cellars
Check out this site, is for a local radio station, but has a "tour" where Ziggy segm the gal toured wine cellars in differnet.
