Purified Drinking Water

Purified Drinking WaterUltraviolet Water Purifier - The best way to purify drinking water?
ultraviolet water purifiers are used by many public treatment facilities to reduce bacterial content. Ultraviolet systems are designed to be used by homeowners with private wells that have a high number of bacteria. Similarly portable water filters ultraviolet are now available for people who are camping or traveling abroad. But even if ultraviolet purifiers can reduce the bacteria levels that do not cause disease, there are pathogens that are resistant to UV treatment. They are known as cysts. The cysts are parasitic to a very early stage of development that can be neutralized by boiling or filtering it. They are more of a micron. Thus, any air purifier that filters down to at least one micron will remove them. Some elements of the kitchen better filter down to half a micron. Depending on where you live and the quality of your diet, you may need to be both water purifiers ultraviolet to kill common bacteria and submicron filtration reduces cysts. The amount of cysts in the environment depends on the temperature throughout the year, the number of animals that are in the region and the season of the year. In the U.S., the public treatment of test facilities for them occasionally, but not consistently. The EPA said that regular testing is impossible. They warn that people at risk should do everything to protect themselves against this type of infection. Those who are most at risk are infants, toddlers, the elderly and those with weakened immune function, or absent. In addition to cysts, many owners should be concerned about chemicals that are used to kill bacteria and algae control in pipelines. The chemical most popular for this purpose is chlorine, because it is cheap and readily available. Chlorination causes the release of by-products called trihalomethanes. The THM exposure greatly increases the risk of cancer of the individual. Ultraviolet water purifiers used for certain purposes, but as reverse osmosis and distillation devices, they can not kill the cysts, they can not remove chlorine or THMs. If you have the need for ultraviolet purification in your home, you should know that recent studies conducted for the EPA showed that all methods of disinfection causes the production of THMs, even ultra-violet. Other studies have shown that THMs off when chlorinated water is heated for showers, cleaning, cooking or other purposes. Well insulated houses have a certain amount of chloroform gas (a known carcinogen and THMs) in the air. So if you have water purifiers ultraviolet light in your home is a good first step for having the cleanest water in your home, especially if you get water from private wells. This is because the owners of private wells are responsible for their own water treatment, and not the local water authority. However, be aware that there are water purifiers available that are more easily able to remove chlorine and THMs. Some water filters at the top of the line kitchen and shower are able to eliminate these types of contaminants.
