This fall, many Americans love beer has jumped on a plane to attend the biggest beer festival in the world - the Oktoberfest in Munich. Unlike Oktoberfests lasting up to 16 days, the Great American Beer Festival is held over three days, from Thursday, ending on Saturday and featuring only home-brewed, domestic beers. Organised for the 26th time in mid-October 2007, the beer festival has attracted more than 40,000 beer lovers to Denver in the heart of the Rockies.
