Long Term Effects Of Alcohol Use

Long Term Effects Of Alcohol UseCan long-term effects of alcohol on the mind to be canceled or fixed through the sobriety?

After drinking heavily for more than 1 year (the definition of alcohol consumption long term), sobriety can solve some of the changes in personality or the nerves connecting the brain damaged?

Yes, sobriety can absolutely improve certain damage caused by alcohol abuse (but not all the damage).

For the most part, dead brain cells will not grow back. However, a portion of the consumption of damage is that it actually strengthens connections in the brain, known as the reward circuit. This is actually how alcohol turns the brain to increase desire. With sobriety, over time, these effects diminish but not disappear completely.

Also, long-term, excessive consumption of alcohol causes metabolic changes and nutritional deficiencies that can be completely reversed with a healthy lifestyle and sober.

If you are "sober" but you feel as if it was a battle every day, this is not true sobriety.
You must go to the root of why you drink / drinks. What led you to drink. How do you feel? Solve a problem first, you do not need to drink.
