Liver Damage From Drinking

Liver Damage From DrinkingCan you get liver damage from drinking at the same time?

say if you sit and drink ten shots in a row or something, you can get liver damage or liver disease? or should it develop from heavy alcohol consumption over time? it is either a good question, or the sound i really stupid.

Yes

No, it is not a stupid question.

You can give yourself alcohol poisoning and kill you if you drink too much at any one given time,

But an occasional binge will not cause too many problems within reasonable limits that the liver can actually regenerate to some extent unlike most other organs. That is if you drink regularly or binge, then the problems will accumulate.

From what I read liver disease increases with time and suffered abuse is increasing because of cheap alcoholic beverages, particularly in the United Kingdom.

People have been known to die of alcohol poisening during a single drinking session. Because the liver is where your body tries to process the alcohol, I expect it is damaged when this occurs. Please do not try this at home.

Heavy drinking over time ... but ten shots is a ridiculous sum, I do not suggest that if your a first time drinker.
