Does anyone know the legal drinking age in Greece? Hello, I'm going to Greece on the weekend 18-30, but I am a little younger than my friends and will not be the age of 18 until 3 days after the holiday. We will Falaraki Rhodes and I was wondering what the age limit is drinkable? If it is 18 people has been and they have an opinion if they are strict with checking IDs.
Thank you in advance.
PS we can not go later, it costs an extra 100 quid each for three days later.
Alcohol will not be served to anyone under 16.
I live in Greece and the laws are not strict. Unless you are 12 and requests a whiskey, do not worry, you'll be fine.
brilliant holiday
Yamas (Greek for cheers!)
The terrible and wonderful at the same time, Greece is one thing that there are laws on the books but not for human consumption.
You need not worry about your age. But do not worry about your behavior if you drink too much.
Normally it is 18, but the more you serve alcohol, unless you're under 16.
The new law says that alcohol is forbidden to be used at the age under 17!
Well, you must be aged 16 to drink legally.
"Yamma" - cheers-
because it is well known for Leonarda, I'm as Rhodes, and I said here. The average is 18, but in Greece, unfortunately, laws are not so respected
Regarding Faliraki, not a very nice place at night especially for families, but for young yes.
No, I do not think a check is proff that there. The British in particular young which behave, and no hope they controlling.I stricter rules, because the situation was bad .. by the way do not have to visit different places on my island, and of course do miss Lindos, where the nightlife is excellent, and it is one of the most beautiful places in Rhodes.
where you go there is no age limit
you can drink at any age you
I guess that 18 years from 18 years to drink in bars.
The legal drinking age is 18. Some places even though it has only 17. Although this is the legal age, almost no place following the law. You can go buy a drink if you're 13. I've seen.

I live in Greece and I'm drinking since I was 13 ....
So yes, they do not really care ....
Greece 17 rarely enforced, except in certain restaurant chains (which have self proclaimed 17 years of age drinking minimum). No legal age to drink in private.
I was going to Zante I was buying alcohol for 13 and there is not there, they do ids do not even know what's that!
18, but you will have absolutely no problem in Faliraki. It's paradise for alcoholic beverages.
there is not one!
My Greek friend said 17, but the laws are not so strict, if you look 17 or more you can be served lol.
you go !!!!! Paradise alcohol
This is not the right place (especially for the elderly and small children) but I'm sure you do not go for sightseeing ...
in Faliraki, they never ask you if you are 18
age limit (18 in Greece, but in person cares Faliraki)
they serve alcohol there cheep, better buy your own to shop
and please do not drive !!!!!
enjoy
still 18 im afraid! .. I think anyway .. I must have one adult group to be served when I went in August last year .. and you can not have a band adult until your 18 .. Sorry if it Rong!
I am from Greece. Is it legal for children to drink alcohol before the age of 18. But this is not very applicable. Most children can have alcohol, even when they are older than 15Y. I'm in that age and if I lie I can buy alcohol without conciquences.
Nobody will ask for ID either. Enjoy your visit and drink as much as you can manage (make love not.
