Legal Alcohol Level

I just read this news story on a 11 year old girl has been charged with a DUI. That is what the last sentence says "Duck declined to release at the girl's blood alcohol content, but a blood test at the hospital showed it was higher than .02, the legal limit for minors. " I did not know there was a legal limit for minors? Am I crazy or has anyone else heard of this before the other?

Things like medcines cold (ie Ny-Quil) and Listerine (even if you do not swallow it, of course) of alcohol ... perhaps Incase 0.02 children take things like that ...?

One child from driving any trace of alcohol in his system will be charged. Either as a DUI if over .02, or driving while impaired under 02, though other fees may be minor in possession of alcohol, reckless danger if other children are in the car, etc. The best do not drinking and driving at any age, and do not drink if under 21 years. It is not worth the consequences.

I've never heard of a child alcohol limit level. Do not think I had to because children are not supposed to drink ... But a 12 year old can take NyQuil who use and may (?) Still have alcohol in it that would give them a read.

It should not be a legal limit for minors if they are not of legal age to drink. Whatever it is contrary to law. Its happening as saying the legal limit for a minor can smoke.
