Different manufacturers of candy in the Niagara region of Canada are probably the candy ice wine, because that's where the ice wine is made. You would need to find a store in this region of Canada that sells them. You can probably buy them in duty free shops at border crossings of Niagara Falls and Fort Erie. I think few of them are made. Even if you can contact the producers of ice wine, they may be able to tell you where to get them. Did you ask your friend where she got them?? Since ice wine is so popular and so expensive, I do not think much of it goes to candy. I gave you a link to Nigh's Sweet Shop in Fort Erie. Somewhere there may be able to tell you where you can find the sweet ice wine. Good luck in your search.
That's where I found the sweet ice wine. http://www.thegreatcanadiangiftcompany.com/Icewine-Candies_p_520.html is exactly as you would buy in Canada. I went to order 4, so it was 19.96 Canadian. They wanted 20 to ship it to U.S.! I said no ... But if you're desperate or live in Canada ... Flag
You can ask your friend or go to the Canadian market and demand.
Good luck!
