Effects Of Alcohol On Teenagers

Effects Of Alcohol On TeenagersWhat harm full effects of alcohol on teenagers?

I am doing a research on lowering the legal drinking age to 18 years I have 3 points why they should not lower
1 A batch of 18 are not mature enough
2 more negative consequences related to alcohol
3 full damage effects of alcohol on teenagers

I have the first two but I'm badly in the 3rd point in only that I have for it is a brain injury
cn someone tell me other effects of alcohol on teenagers especially in relation to health please!

Alcohol is not exactly the cause of brain damage. I mean, when you think of brain damage, can you imagine someone who can not think very well, or may not function properly. This does not happen to you after consumption. This occurs because of aging.

There is no reason to believe that drinking damages your brain in a way that is really important. It affects your thinking while he is still in the blood, of course, but this does not affect your thinking the next day.

As far as I know, there are no adverse effects specifically for adolescents. Alcohol in moderation is not particularly bad for people. Too much alcohol is bad for everyone. But maybe you should try to make current research on this, instead of just asking here. Try a search on some news magazines or journals like "Science News" or "Science" or "Nature" or "the Journal of the American Medical Association."

1) A batch of 35 years are not mature enough.
2) There are far fewer negative consequences, positive. Alcohol is blamed for many things, including but not limited to a wrong decision.
3) alcohol same effect on an adolescent (as if they went puberty) as it does an adult. They only different effect.

Alcohol does not cause brain damage. It is an urban legend. In fact, it helps with the nervous system and may help protect against brain damage. It causes the brain chemistry to change temporarily, but then again so does salt.

I will not be hypocritical. I've been drinking since I am 15 and I always liked to get drunk .. but .. risks at this age are generally:

1. Stupidity (ie drunk driving)
2. Loss of self control = pregnancy
3. Dependence
4. Apathy
5. poor grades, dropping out
6. Becoming Introverted
7. Migraines

The key is moderation. If our government tells us we are big enough to carry a gun and kill people at 18 years, we should be allowed to drink. The key is to drink responsibly.

They can be forced / pressure by taking illicit drugs
Alcohol poisoning if a binge, they (which is common in adolescents)
Chance of having breast cancer in later life may increase by 6% when teenagers drink alcohol.
Most young people start smoking and drinking, the more likely to have oral cancer.

I have drunk since I was 14 and I shot very well. Use me as an example in your newspaper!
