The legal age to consume alcohol and tabaco in Dubai is 21 years. Dubai is the only emirate where the minimum age is 21 years tabaco. In the other emirates, it is 18 years. Most clubs do not allow people under 25 years to join the porters and follow very strict restrictions.

In general, there is no difference between the official law and what is accepted in practice if it is in a private home. Please note that smoking shisha is like smoking cigarettes at a time 8. Currently, you will also find many places in Dubai (caffees, restaurants, etc.) where it is forbidden to smoke more. Also a discussion on the Prohibition of the smoking shisha in public goes, but no law regarding this from implemented yet.

I grew up in Dubai (13-20) so I can tell you from my experience eveyrthing. The legal drinking age is 21. But if you go to a restaurant or something like that, they do not ID. I've never been ID'd in a restaurant before. Clubbing is 21. What about the lady said to be above 25 is not true. Been clubbing for years and never been asked Id If you're beautiful, you will get guaranteed in. They do not allow certain people because of their appearance (its true, and hard!). Sheesha is supposed to be 18, but again, they DONT card. I used to smoke shisha everyweekend with friends. Dubai is amazing place !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

H is very useful, but I need to correct to "smoke the hookah is like smoking cigarettes at a time 8. This is not true. The tobacco in the shisha itself is light. The real problem comes from coal. Some shisha makers are very large holes in the foil making charcoal ash is in the airflow tube and throat when you inhale. You should always tell the shisha-maker to make very small holes with a safety pin or a needle. Carry one with you in case they did.
