Can be expensive gifts and eat and drink too much, really how Christians should be celebrating? What you believe is the birth of your Christ? What happened to being humble?
No, who cares about the religious garbage? More deliver what it is.
I do not think that does not respect the Bible that says DONT drink and you drink at Christmas and other events is something that Christians should do about such events.
Islam says that the day of Eid, which is like Christmas for Christians, you must feed the poor, and direct others, your sacrifices, in what you have cooked.
People have the right to do whatever they want with their hard earned money and can eat and drink what they want when they want. It is important to remember the true meaning of Christmas, but for me what is important is to spend time with your family and if this includes gifts or overeat, so be it.
As Mr. McC, I was raised not really celebrate and we did not say to Santa Claus existed either.
Some see nothing wrong with small lies, others feel revolted by them. John 8:44, Revelation. 21:8, 22:15.
1Cor. 10:19-22, 2 Cor. 6:14-18.
I was a kid preacher and the father is out of religion to the teaching of sexual morality of the Bible (was expelled).
I later became one of Jehovah's Witnesses.
Jesus said that the award was better than receiving, and keeps telling Christians to care for the poor, the sick, the elderly, orphans and widows among them. The appallingly rich said to get rid of their excess, sell and give to the poor.
The scriptures also condemn drunkenness and gluttony .... They were offenses for someone to take along with fornication, idolatry, false doctrine, etc. 1 Cor. Chapter 7, Titus 3:10, 11.
Now I help others all I can, but not rich, I can spend a lot of time helping people educated about what Bible so they can decide for themselves what to do.

This Christmas, we decided to buy gifts through World Vision for people in other countries. For example, $ 75 you can buy a goat for a family in Africa. We still buy gifts for our children, but adults who are hard to shop for because they already have "everything", make this place. I'll probably still hogs pie and cookie dough (my weakness). I do not think there's anything wrong with being festive and enjoy a nice holiday. It is interesting to read about the first church, where they would fast for days to provide food for a stranger. In fact, they had to give things to take care of others, especially when we get him out of our abundance. It is the attitude that we should fight for.
you watch too much television and should be purchased in the commercial aspect ....
most people home exchange or gift is required, a joy filled holiday meal with family and friends, and excessive alcohol consumption of cocoa that ...
the thing alcohol is not a Christian or a holiday thing is just stupid ....
7th day Adventist that we have always done as a birthday party for Jesus with 3 types of gifts representing the gifts of men want ...
I will be rejected for many the answer - but here it goes.
As I Christian I am appalled that many well-intentioned, but misinformed propigate continue the lie that Jesus was born on or about December 25 It is obvious that somewhere in the distant past, a well-intentioned towards Catholic thought it better to incorporate the many festivals that converts to continue in their previous lives and worship in a pagan form of Christianity. So they took the winter festivals and celebrations similar and created a "birthday" celebration for Jesus.
Look in the Bible and you will not see any recommendations.
