Excessive consumption of alcohol in the early stages of pregnancy? I just discovered that I am 12 weeks pregnant (I had no signs or symptoms). Now I'm worried because I have probably been binge drinking at least 6 times since I was pregnant, and ... I feel reluctant to do so, but I was very drunk ... I used cocaine.
I am so afraid that this affected the baby, and certainly not to drink during pregnancy from now on. Will my baby be ok?
Thank you for any help, please do not judge me x
I agree with Chelsea. I just want to add, congratulations, wish you a happy pregnancy and a healthy baby. Do not worry about your past, you grow up now.
many heroin addicts, alcoholics and drug addicts give birth to healthy babies all the time. the fact that you did not know you were pregnant means that you were not aware of any danger. Im sure your baby will be fine as it probably would have caused an error if it is not already so I would not worry about it. you did not know if you should not blame you. As long as you put it off from now im sure there will be no sign of problems. it's not like you've been drinking and taking drugs every day for 12 weeks. I recommend you start taking folic acid and multivitamins for pregnancy (they are usually taken during the first 12 weeks and are not needed after they used to do no harm - indeed, it is better to take now and not at all)
Good Luck - 12 weeks scan would show if there are problems, but I doubt there will be)
Well, it is good that you're not going to be stupid and drink throughout your pregnancy but it may harm your baby could i cannot say whether it will or habit because I am not a doctor, but it can harm the baby. I know that if you drink throughout your pregnancy together, it could harm your baby for sure. Be careful and good luck and hope you have a beautiful healthy baby.
EDIT-You can talk to your doctor about it so they can test your baby in late pregnancy for DS and other things, they can test it.
The best thing you can do is to stop both alcohol and drugs as soon as possible. You should tell your doctor about these things, because your baby may need to be tested for w / d symptoms when he was born.
There are many things that your behavior could occur because of the baby, but stopping the drug and alcohol use right away is the best thing you can do for your baby.
It is really only after 12 weeks the baby begins to take things out of it anyway.
Get checked out, and Start was in good health and inn will have no problem now.
Do you feel guilty about It!
Good luck:)

You should tell your doctor so they can test.
Talk to your doctor. he needs to know to test the baby
hey. I was in the same situation with this pregnancy, I discovered that I was 5 weeks pregnant and was sooo drunk and smoked several times. has not taken drugs or something like that, but I was beside myself after a miscarriage. fundamentally the way the midwife put it when I told him of my concerns is that there is no placenta formed until 12wks so anything that you drink, smoke or sniff does not the baby directly, it is diluted by the blood to start so that baby is usually harmless in small quantities. but after 12 weeks, it is imperative to act reasonably (which now UR - good for u!) to your midwife appt booking you will be asked about alcohol and drugs before and after pregnancy, it is sufficient to meet honest and tell her how many weeks you would have been if you took it, so it mite be embarrassing u mite get disapproving look, but they point u in the necessary direction, but try not to s' worry, most babies in the first weeks of pregnancy are under a lot of intentional violence, because we have not.
