Is it safe to drink Coca-Cola diet during pregnancy? I am 5 weeks almost 6 weeks pregnant and I was wondering if I could get a certain amount of free diet Coke hurt the baby?
women drink all kinds of soda during pregnancy, but just try to limit it to about 2 cans per day.
Yes, of course, the only thing harmful is caffeine and you can safely have up to 200 mg of caffeine per day, which is about 2 cups of instant coffee, tea or cola cans about 5 (diet or regular), as it is not that cup of caffeine in it. If you have concerns or who are already using your allowance of caffeine on the coffee, then try to find caffeine free diet coke (I think he has a silver and gold the label).
Well, I wouldnt recommend. Because its worse than regular coke theres more sugar in it to make it taste better. so if you want soda, I would just stick to regular. my doc said to limit my caffeine intake to 2 drinks per day, but caffenated Ask the doctor ur too!
No diet drinks (or most of them anyway) contain artificial sweeteners, and the only doctor approved my pregnancy is Splenda, which is in most diet drinks.
