Drinking Alcohol With Penicillin

I researched the topic through the internet and I discovered there are no known interactions between alcohol and penicillin, so you can just drink glass to penicillin. However, the instructions I had with penicillin tablets it says you should "avoid drinking alcohol while on penicillin. So how is he really serious? Can I have a few glasses of wine at least? Is there something serious could happen to me if I drink?

I would not recommend it. I can not say I've never done, but I usually regret it for a couple of days.
I think my level of tolerance to alcohol is lower if I am taking penicillin, the hangover is worse, and the effect of penicillin is lower.

there is no real problem of drug interaction. The bad is alcohol will weaken the effect of the antibiotic. The problem with that is if you do not kill the bacterial infection than the general penicillin was prescribed to fight, just kill the weaker bacteria. then turn that bacteria will multiply and you'll end up with a stronger form of the more resistant infections.
