Christian Alcohol Treatment

I'm looking for a place to go for Christian based residential treatment. I looked into Mercy Ministries and I am almost stepped on this point and I'm not adamant about Teen Challenge. Preferably, somewhere in Michigan. Mercy seemed so convenient because it's free, and sounds really what I need, but it is far enough and they need a commitment of 6 months and I do not think I could commit. I am facing a lot right now ... I am now facing a rape that took place in 2002, I was self-injuring for 10 years now and drug / alcohol dependence among many other things. I was in the hospital (mental unity) + about 13 times now, once a residential rehabilitation, outpatient rehabilitation once, I think the list could go on .. I really need help .... really bad ... soon .. I think suicide so often.

Stolenvoice .... My heart goes out to you! Have family members who have different probs dependency, and seeing and hearing what they went through is heartbreaking, because nobody can do anything for them except themselves!

I havent read anwser everyone, so no idea what was well said, but I'm currently on the waiting list to enter the mercy of Australia. Although I havent really got at the moment, I have found really useful. They stay in touch with you throughout the wait, and offer support and advice until you are in. They say that the minimum is committente 6months, but its certainly on the bottom .... everything depends on the individual. You could be there for 3mths, you could be there for 18mths. Its all yours, and how quicky you get and when they feel you're ready for the vast new world.
