Sonoma Cabernet Sauvignon wine for less than $ 25 a bottle, what do you recommend? My favorite wine is Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley. I want to create a branch from Napa Valley Cabs and experience of good Sonoma cabs. So you understand my taste what follows are my favorite Napa Valley cabs under $ 30 a bottle: Clos du Val, Charles Krug, Markham, Napa Cellars. Cabernet Sauvignon Sonoma I tried and liked is a '02 St. Francis. This bottle has motivated me to another taste Sonoma Cabs.
Geyser Peak (Sonoma Cab made by Aussies!)
Dry Creek
Ravenswood (they are many booths, Sonoma is delicious)
Simi can be wonderful
I dig above Ch.St. Jean, with Sebastiani wines and Rodney as well.
If you are trying some movement Sonoma Zinfandel!
I would like Austrailian cabs go try .... Lots of deep complex flavors for a lot less $$$$$$
If you can find a bottle of 2001 which has been well stored (in a cool and dark place), it is a good place to start.
Otherwise, Sonoma cabernets are usually not as impressive as their cousins in Napa. Cline incredible Zins, Muscat and Mouva¨dre. And their old vines.
It's in the dark about the rest. Valley of the Moon is my choice of vineyards in Sonoma.
Rex Goliath is good, so is Chateau St. Jean, but I'm not sure if thats a Sonoma or not
