Alcohol Septal Ablation

My cat has caridomyopathy hypertrophic and I want desperately to do more than give him lasix and Cardizem him until he dies. People w / this can get septal ablation with alcohol what appears to be successful. Are there any animal studies on this subject? Or is there a possible cure for my other boyfriend? (And yes, this is what happens to you when you are 45 W / without children). I know the question is weird, but after researching the options I'm curious to know whether a transplant are options for him.
