levels of alcohol??? I do not see what the BAC is??? I heard that the beer, 5% level of alcohol and spirits and things have 5%??
What does this mean???
Watch the "proof" level on the label. Divide by 2 (at least in the U.S.). If it's 80 proof is 40% alcohol. If 151 is a little over 75% alcohol. And so on.
Standard strength of spirits is 40%, which is 80 proof. They may be less, or they may be 75% or more. A piece of fresh fruit may be more than 1 / 2%! Beer can range from about 3.5% to about 10%. There was something that was 2%, it was called "near beer." The strength of wine can vary from 3-4% to 21%, normal wine these days run about 12.5 % to 14.5%. It was fifty years ago 11-12%, but the world is warmer now.
This means, how much you need to drink to get drunk.
The beer is made of 4 and 6% alcohol in it. But spirits are 40% as whiskey, etc.
This means that if you drank one beer at 5%, 500ml that means you'll drink with 40ml of whiskey.
