Is it the number of calories in beer back as the percentage of alcohol goes up? The Carling Black lable 4.5% contains about 140 Cal. Thus, the 10% should contain 280 Cal ????? I'm also really confused and couldnt find exact calorie count that 10% beer.I writing an important document when I need to run this website data.Any any info ----- plssss HELP.
Large generalized response ... Yes, it is typical for the number of calories to mount when the ABV (alcohol by volume) rises but it is not always true. A pint of Guinness has about U.S. standard 160 calories and a pint of Budweiser beer has about 190 U.S. standard. The alcohol content is relatively equal between the two. I cringe to think what the calorie content of a Dogfish Head IPA is 120 minutes at 20-21% alcohol.
Oh, and Gizelle ... Vodka has 75 calories in each ounce. A standard shot is 2 ounces equivalent to 150 calories per shot. There are no carbohydrates in vodka ... but the weight gain as we all know comes from two sources.
not because the vodka is like 37.5 and it is not at all fattening
in beer, I suppose that barley and sh * t. ...... no alcohol

No, generally the opposite is true. However, in your case, Carling mass production blonde (I think), while beer is 10% probably richer craft beer with more complex carbohydrates, therefore more calories.
The fermentation process converts sugar into alcohol and carbon dioxide in this process caloric value is lost.
