How long does it take to overcome more alcohol? I'm probably an alcoholic, but I drink a few glasses of wine or beer per night. The problem is, I drink every night. I can go probably three - four nights without drinking, but that's all. then I break down and give in. I am not drunk, but I drink enough to relax me .... The question is: how long I gotta go before I feel that the wine every night??
Being an alcoholic is not defined by how much or what you drink, it is determined by how your drinking impacts your life - by what you said it seems as if many of your ideas are about alcohol? If you think that drinking a lot of time and can not go long without a drink (even if you do not drink much), it usually indicates that you have an addiction to alcohol. The majority of people who beat their addiction to alcohol get professional help. As you have already experienced, it is not the physical cravings that are the hardest to beat - it's the psychological side of things that must be addressed for you to be able to resume control and stop the cravings (both physical and mental) for good.
Treatment is not just for people who drink bottles of spirits, day and night it is for those who want to stop living with the constraints at all levels of addiction. Try checking a site to get some advice about where you can get some support, there are good on the net, but be aware of all those who want the details of your credit card - advice should be free and help you find a suitable support.
You are not alone and please believe me when I say that things go much better if you get help.
In addition to alcohol may leave you with some serious life subtractions multiplications divided by what you have
If you can not go a few days and still crave, you and alcoholic beverages. they have medication for that. I happen to be on. but once an addict always an addict, just stay away from the substance
